Weather Conditions
The balloon never flies under conditions that
might present the slightest risk. Winds must be light, under 8 miles per
hour with no threat of rain, fog, or impending precipitation, or any other
condition the Pilot determines to render the flight unsafe. We hold strictly
to these parameters; safety will not be compromised.
The main flying season is May through October.
Spring and Fall present some of the most beautiful days of the year:
it is, however, a transitional time and does not offer many good flight
days. FLights may be canceled and need to be rescheduled many times
due to unacceptable hot air ballooning weather or conditions beyond our
control.
Flights are scheduled Tuesday though Sunday
at sunrise and sunset. Scheduling is subject to availability.
